Hello! My name is Terri Banks and I am the owner and designer behind the ‘TJB Inspired’ accessory line. Let me take a few minutes to tell you a little about the inspiration behind 'TJB Inspired’ (patent pending). I am a stay at home mom of 3 terrific boys and the wife to a wonderful, encouraging husband. While flipping through a fashion magazine one day I came across a pair of jeans that were rolled up to Capri length with a cuff. Along the cuff was sewn a strip of red beads. It really caught my eye (along with the $395.00 price tag that went along with it). From that moment on, the journey started. The final results as you see it today, has been from a long evolving process. It started with the creation of the ‘Vintage Cuff’ I didn’t want myself or you as the customer needing to buy a specific pair of pants that had my Vintage Inspired Fabric Cuffs already attached, just to get this stylish, changeable, new look. Nor have to spend that outrageous amount of money. I felt we all have our special jeans and pants that fit just the way we like them (nice and worn). I needed to come up with a way to attach these fabric cuff accessories to our own existing pants. That is were the Vintage Inspired Pins come in. This gave the ability to add even more character and charm to the fabric, and if chosen could be worn on the cuff alone. With the fabric pieces being open and not sewn together into a circle, it gives you the versatility to wear these on all different size pant leg widths, no matter what the size, a wide leg, a narrow leg, even long shorts. You can adjust them as needed. Most children’s widths will size up to the small size and most adult’s widths will size up to the large size. I love the idea that children as young a 5 and woman of all ages can enjoy these. There are no age restraints. During the finalizing of the patent application, I realized that the fabric cuffs had more uses. That is when the inspiration for the ‘TJB Inspired’ original handbag was created. After quite a few alterations and sample bags were made, I felt the design and details were perfect and ready for my name to be attached and production to begin.
