Below are instructions to safely attach and remove vintage pins from TJB Inspired pant cuffs and handbags. Follow these instructions and you'll easily create new and unique styles with your TJB Inspired products.

You may also view the following photos for details on how to use your new product:

PANT CUFFS

ATTACHING: It is recommended to attach your cuffs to your pants, shorts or capri’s prior to putting them on. First, decide which side of the cuff you want to be showing or you may choose to partially fold down one side and expose both sides at the same time. You are going to start by finding the center section of your cuff and matching it up to the inside seam of the article of clothing for which you are attaching it to. I recommend the pin entry to be approximately 1” down from the top.

(Remember to stay away from the seams on your pants when pushing the pins through as it can be too thick and may cause damage to the pins).

Gently push your pin through each set of materials onelayer at a time until it is completely through to the other side. Once the pin is through, push the rubber backing securely onto the end of the pin. Next, making sure your ‘Cuff ‘is lined up and centered, move to the front section or back section to apply
your next pins. (Try and space evenly around the cuff). When you get to the outside of your leg, this is were the last pins will go. Make sure the excess flap material is facing toward the back and then apply your pin, (again remember to stay away from the seams). Just a reminder that you can choose to wear the Decorative Pins alone on your folded up pant cuff without using the fabric strip (cuff).

REMOVING: When you are ready to remove or change your ‘Cuffs’, hold onto the rubber backing and gently twist and pull on the pin and backing at the same time. Use the bag that your pins came in to store them. A couple of extra backings have been added for your convenience. Use your Vintage Hanger to hang your cuffs on when not in use (NOTE: I also like to use the hanger as a photo hanger).

HANDBAGS

ATTACHING: The top 1 ½” of the handbag is the only place where you will be attaching and placing the pins for holding the fabric on. This area is the only section designed specifically for the pins. When attaching the ‘full cover fabric’ you will need (6) six pins. Start by sliding the handbag into the full cover and pulling up to adjust for a snug fit. Start on the outer sides with one pin on either side of the belt loop (remember to keep pins away from seams) and push through and attach rubber backing, go to other side and do the same. Next, use your third pin on either front side and attach to the right of the belt loop, and then move over to the left of the other belt loop and attach the fourth pin. Do the same on the other side and attach your fifth and sixth pins.

When attaching the 4” strap you will use one pin. When attaching the pins to the ‘Handbag’ gently push the pin backing through the ‘Collection Fabric’ first and then gently through the handbag fabric and attach snuggly with the rubber backing. It is recommended to periodically check your backing and make sure they are snug.

REMOVING: To remove the backing, gently hold on to the front of the pin and the back of the pin at the same time and gently twist and pull apart at the same time. It is a snug fit.
